The Pamplona City Council accredits media and professionals for three Sanfermines events: CHUPINAZO, POBRE DE MÍ and ENCIERROS.
CHUPINAZO (OPENING CEREMONY)
The City Council has balconies on Casa Seminario overlooking City Hall and Plaza Consistorial to broadcast the event which gets the festival under way, the Chupinazo. From this building, which is on one side of the square, you can shoot the rocket being launched to announce the start of the festival and the atmosphere in the square.
Inside City Hall, hall that opens onto the balcony from which the rocket announcing the start of the festival is launched (press room).
- None of the balconies can be accessed before the launch of the rocket
- None of the balconies can be accessed when the rocket is actually being launched
RUNNING OF THE BULLS
- Accreditation does not imply the reservation of a space at the posts on the route of the Running of the bulls.
- Those accredited should take up position at the upright posts that mark out the route of the Running of the bulls in the sections enabled for this purpose
- When the Running of the bulls finishes, everybody is free to access the route
- Access restricted to the media covering the entire route of the Running of the bulls and other media companies and/or freelancers, depending on their project and needs
- Access to the bend into Calle Mercaderes is restricted to the media companies and/or freelancers selected by the Pamplona City Council Communication Service
BULLRING
The management of accreditation for inside the Bullring during the Running of the bulls is the responsibility of Casa de Misericordia de Pamplona
POBRE DE MÍ (CLOSING CEREMONY)
- Balconies on Casa Seminario overlooking Plaza Consistorial
- Inside City Hall, hall that opens onto the balcony from which the end of the festival is announced (press room).
- The balcony cannot be accessed when the authorities actually announce the end of festival.
- Plaza Consistorial. Street level, in the restricted area on the stage
The media companies and/or freelancers interested in coming to the San Fermín festival for the first time should send an email to sfacreditaciones@pamplona.es BETWEEN 15 MAY and 15 JUNE with a brief explanation of their project.
This application will be answered with a username, password and link to the accreditation website to complete the forms.
The media companies and freelancers accredited in previous years will receive a new username and password to access the accreditation website on 14 MAY.
This information will be sent to the contact email which each media company and/or freelancer sent when making their application in previous years.
DOCUMENTATION
The City of Pamplona requires TWO MANDATORY DOCUMENTS to assess applications:
- Justification of the application with a description of the project to be carried out, audience or circulation and other information of interest.
- Statement of responsibility regarding the person or persons included in the application for accreditation.
On 16 JUNE, the accreditation website will no longer be accessible because the application period will have concluded.
