The University of Navarre offers several spaces for holding congresses and events, such as the University of Navarre Museum and other spaces located on the Campus.
University of Navarre Museum
This artistic centre, opened in 2015, brings together nature, architecture, sculpture, painting, photography and gastronomy. At the heart of the Universidad de Navarra campus and very close to the city’s hospital complex, it has multiple spaces that are ideal for hosting all kinds of events.
Designed by Rafael Moneo – the only Spanish architect to be awarded with the Pritzker prize – the Universidad de Navarra Museum is located harmoniously on the side of the campus closest to the centre of Pamplona. From here, it opens out onto over 100 hectares of gardens, making the university area one of the city’s green lungs.
Its contemporary art collection, including pieces by Tàpies, Picasso, Rohtko and Kandinsky, and its photography collection (one of the most important in Spain), make this cultural landmark a benchmark in northern Spain.
In terms of MICE space, the Museum has a 700-seat Auditorium-Theatre, which hosts performing art programmes and a whole host of external events. There are also other fully equipped rooms and multi-use spaces with varied capacities, as well as the passable terrace. The restaurant fuses local and international modern cuisine.
University of Navarre Campus
The Pamplona campus of University of Navarra has different venues whose state-of-the-art facilities are fitted for holding different events and activities.
Located in the heart of the city, the campus covers some 113 hectares and is connected with the city centre through pedestrian and cycle tracks and public transport (bus lines nos. 1, 4 and 5). Several parking areas are available on campus too.
The campus is divided into two distinct areas: the Humanities area, comprising the Central Building, the Amigos Building, the Central Library, the Schools of Architecture and of Communication, and the Ecclesiastical Schools; and the Sciences area, comprising the Sciences Buildings – a.k.a. the Hexagon, with the Museum of Natural Sciences -, the Research Buildings, “Los Castaños”, the Centre for Research in Applied Pharmacobiology or CIFA, the Sciences Library and the Centre of Applied Medical Research or CIMA).
