The city has an urban bus service managed by the Mancomunidad de la Comarca de Pamplona (community of municipalities of the Pamplona metropolitan area) . This fleet of buses are locally known as the "Villavesas", so it's a good idea to become familiar with this name. Throughout the year, there are 25 lines offering daily services and ten night bus routes.
The price of a single ticket for the daytime service is 1.50 euros, which is reduced to 0.77 euros if you pay using a bus card which can be purchased at tobacconist's (Tabacos) and other shops taking part in the scheme. +info
However, during the San Fermín festival, the bus service is increased considerably and there are also a few changes to the prices, lines and routes.
