What is the Local Government Board
The Local Government Board consists of the Mayor and a number of councillors, not exceeding one third of their total legal number, who he/she appoints and dismisses.
Duties
- To assist the Mayor in the exercise of his/her powers.
- Powers delegated by the Mayor or another municipal body.
