Pamplona is City Walls

Declared a National Monument and more than five kilometres long, Pamplona’s defensive walls and the Citadel constitute one of Europe’s most interesting and best preserved Renaissance
military complexes.

Pamplona preserves its Renaissance city walls and an old town formed by three boroughs, La Navarrería, San Cernin and San Nicolás, which merged in a single city in 1423 when King Charles III enacted the Privilege of the Union.
