If you're coming to Pamplona by car, then you need to make sure you observe the above-ground car parking regulations. There are different car parking zones in Pamplona, each marked by a different colour. The car parking spaces marked with white lines are free of charge, while those marked with different colours are subject to regulations.
Blue zone
During the hours established for restricted parking, this parking zone is only available to vehicles displaying a resident permit sticker and with no time limit, and those drivers with a pay and display ticket for the amount of time purchased.
Red zone
A pay and display ticket is required for parking in the red zone during the established parking hours. Those vehicles with a resident permit cannot park in these zones without purchasing a parking ticket. Outside the restricted hours, only residents can park in these zones. Exceptions with regard to parking times: Plaza de la Estación (Railway Station Square) (24-hour pay and display parking) and parking opposite the Department of Education (Sector 1, special hours).
Orange zone
Parking is permitted, during the hours established for restricted parking, for vehicles with a resident permit within their sector and with no time limit and those purchasing a ticket for a maximum one-day period.
Green zone
Exclusively for residents.
